The trailer for Scotland from the Sky has now been released ahead of next week's broadcast. Episode 1 of the new series, which looks at the origins of aerial photography, will be shown at 9pm on BBC One Scotland on 16 May.
The tie-in book to the new BBC series Scotland from the Sky is published today, 3 May. Written by series presenter James Crawford, this lavishly illustrated book draws on the vast collection of aerial photography held in the archives of Historic Environment Scotland to tell the remarkable story of a nation from above.
The broadcast dates for Scotland from the Sky have been announced. The three part series begins on Wednesday 16 May at 9pm on BBC1 Scotland. Parts two and three will be shown on 23 and 30 May. The series will also be available to view anywhere in the UK on the BBC iPlayer.
